Civil Ceremonies
We are a fully licensed wedding venue and host civil ceremonies, civil partnerships and the renewal of vows in the historic East Chamber or Old Hall.
The Old Hall is a room steeped in history. Once known as the Great Hall, this room was built to entertain. Clement Sisley and his family would have thrown lavish feasts for their guests in an ornate and impressive room with a welcoming central fireplace. The Old Hall is the perfect place to create a memorable moment and make an impression with a beautiful ceremony or lively dance floor. This room has a capacity of 70 guests and is located on the ground floor.
The East Chamber is a beautiful and spacious room bathed in natural light from its Elizabethan windows. Originally designed as a bedroom suite, this space was created to be luxurious and relaxing. Complete with original Tudor beams and two unique fireplaces, it acts as a gorgeous setting for a ceremony or seated meal. This room has a capacity of 100 and is located on the first floor (accessible via lift).
