Tudor May Day

Join us to celebrate May Day as the Tudor’s once did. Pop by to try your hand at May Pole Dancing from 11am to 1pm for free. How better to celebrate Spring than dancing around a May Pole with live music and costumed performers. Also enjoy a Herbal Health workshop, arts and craft activities for families, Tudor dining, tours and trails. Admission is free!

The Three Inch Fools will be giving a one-off performance featuring music, drama and plenty of fun from their brand new productions of Macbeth and Much Ado About Nothing. Join us in the Walled Garden at 1.30pm. Expect a fast-paced, musically-driven performance, using all sorts of different instruments, plenty of multi-roling and many a quick costume change along the way!

The Three Inch Fools are a five-strong troupe of actors equipped with all manner of musical instruments, performing a highly imaginative and vibrantly musical take on Shakespeare's plays.

Tickets for the performance cost £2.00 per person, children under 5 are free. The performance will last approximately 30 minutes. Please book tickets in advance, a limited number will be available on the door. The performance is in the Grade I listed Walled Garden, chairs and mats will be provided and you’re welcome to bring your own. Other activities available on the day are arts and crafts, Tudor dining, trails and tours. Admission to Eastbury Manor House is free of charge. Eastbury Manor House is open from 11am to 4pm.
