This is a digital exhibition of a community oral history project that celebrates the voices and experiences of local residents who have long, and more recent connections to the Barking and Dagenham area.
This exhibition is the culmination of a series of workshops and interviews which took place from October 2018 until July 2019. An exhibition of this project was displayed at Eastbury from February 2019 - March 2020.
Audio stories that were collected as part of those sessions, will be preserved at the Archive and Local Studies Centre at Valance House. All the material on display has been kindly copied and loaned by participants.
